This is my second school year at St. James, and I am truly blessed to be a part of the wonderful community here. I am also happy to serve as the PE teacher for our Pre-K students. Among my other duties, I am our Administrator for FACTS SIS system which we use to communicate to parents and send report cards and progress reports. I am our Google Workspace Administrator, and always ready to help with any student email or Chromebook support.
I am born and raised in Houston, but San Antonio has always been a second home to me. I am a proud graduate of St. Mary's University. My wife, Cecelia and I have two wonderful kids, Ava and AJ. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family BBQ'ing, fishing, and watching my hometown Astros and Texans.
About Technology Class
It is my outlook that all innovation in our world is a Gift from God, and should be respected as such. God has given us this wonderful world and inspired so many developments for us to serve humanity in a positive way. I hope to serve our students to understand the value of these gifts so that they can be inspired to create the innovations of the future.
In our class, we will cover subject areas ranging from basic computer literacy to digital citizenship and safe technology use practices. Our upper grades can look forward to completing task-focused activities such as proper essay formatting, creating slideshow presentations, and typing skills. We will also stress the importance of safe technology use strategies, focusing on age-appropriate issues facing them today.
I am so fortunate to receieve such a warm welcome from our St. James families. It is truly through the support and generosity and support of our families that our faculty and staff can continue to serve and educate our children. If you would like to support the Technology classes by donating to the class wish list, please click this link to be directed to Mr. A's classroom wish list. Every $10 spent counts as 1 service hour for that family, and any items purchased will remain with the school as a very welcome resource for the years to come.
